Vintage Gibson Firebird
Gibson’s historic Firebird guitar has a rich heritage – many reknowned guitarists have created classic guitar tones and memorable recordings with the Gibson Firebird. The Firebird line began in 1963 – it was Gibson’s intention that the Firebird would compete with the modern colours, radical shapes and multiple pick ups of Fender guitars.
Automotive designer Ray Dietrich designed the Firebird with deliberate reference to 1950′s cars. The Firebird was Gibson’s first solid body neck-through guitar. Other notable features were banjo style tuners on the reverse of the headstock and mini humbucking pickups.

hi i never play any kind of gibson guitar because i am a fender p bass squier affinity guitar man you forgive me i have a temp and the flu bug i have been to alot of johnny winter concert but well age15 to now 54 year old i cant tell you the storey in full but i am going to try once i pickup a six string and toldly drove my mon and every one insane i gave up then i said who in the world can think its not any thing at all inthe dead of a cold dtraken dec walking down the sreet at night i said ill just turn the guitatr over and the 6 string turns in to 4 string once i did this magic happen rock n roll thank you god for alll the hard times and the good ones love dale
